纽约室内设计学院New York School of Interior Design，常简称为NYSID，是一所小型的私立学校，NYSID位于纽约的精华地，也就是曼哈顿上东区70街，学校不大，没有校园，但是该有的设备如艺廊、书店，也是应有尽有。全校约有700人。NYSID是室内设计教育研究基金会(FIDER)一员，也是全国艺术与设计学校协会的成员(NASAD)，在全美室内设计学院排名中也是非常顶尖的学校之一。是全美主要的室内设计学院之一，此校完全致力于室内设计，从基础的色彩和空间关系到利用计算机辅助设计，学生将学习到最新、最前卫全球室内设计师必备技能。

NYSID’s diverse student body is integral to our culture and success. We take great pride in the fact that international students make up nearly 19% of our student population, and NYSID students hail from 33 countries. The diversity allows for an interesting exchange of ideas and fosters a respect for different perspectives and cultures.
The International Student Office provides services and support to prospective and current international students who require an F1 student visa to attend NYSID. It guides students through the required paperwork to complete an application, what’s needed to apply for a student visa, entering the US, and, once students are here, help getting them acclimated and settled in New York City.
Support is provided to international students for the entire time they are studying at NYSID. This can be anything from offering assistance with travel authorizations, help with cultural adjustment, and organizing international student programs and workshops.
New York School of Interior Design is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant students.
Application Process and Requirements
International students need to fill out a general admissions application, as well as provide additional documentation. To learn more see undergraduate application requirements and graduate application requirements.
Students who hold other visa types will still be required to complete international requirements but do not need to provide financial documentation. If the applicant plans to change their visa status to F1, they will need to complete the Financial Documentation requirement and contact the International Student Advisor directly for Change-of-Status procedures.
